20mm stone is a good size for driveways as it does not easily get displaced by vehicles, or caught in the treads.
Flint based stone will last substantially longer than some of the softer stones available, such as Cotswold stone. There may be a slight cost difference but this will pay for itself with its longevity.
The Colouration of stone can change, as it is a naturally dug product, even if you order the same type of stone - try and order enough for the job and perhaps a few top-ups for the future.
What Type of Gravel is Good for Driveways?
With hundreds of variations of gravels available, it really comes down to personal preference with regards to colour. However, there are a few key points that should not be overlooked
"I called and spoke to a chap called Kyle. He assured me that no job was too small and he spent a good 15 minutes on the phone with me working out quantities, giving me advice etc. He never sounded 'rushed', he was very patient and left me feeling confident that my enquiry was valued.

About a month later I was ready to place my order. The order was placed over the phone and the delivery was made perfectly on time."
